WWF Shotgun Saturday Night Series 2 - Sable

Sable Likeness: 2/10

Green Likeness: 3/10

As she did in wrestling, Sable has managed to outshine her ex-husband Marc Mero in having a head-scratching face mould. Making the botched likeness even worse, this head mould was used for various Sable figures in the late '90s. The amount of these heads produced is shocking; the gurning face that suggests insanity over alluring, the red lips and black eyeliner that look like a toddler stumbled across their mother's makeup, and no, if not minimal, attempt to match her actual hair colour and settling on banana yellow.

While this monstrosity is a hard one to redeem, the sheer messiness of the likeness recalls Chelsea Green's 'Hot Mess' gimmick. Before being released from WWE, Green's action figures were already far enough into production that they entered stores as she departed from the company.

The 'Hot Mess' character used while performing as Laurel Van Ness in Impact Wrestling was a huge draw worthy of an action figure. The psychotic, dishevelled and jilted Miss Haversham-type character is the perfect match for this plastic slight against Sable.
