10 AEW Wrestlers Who Are In Big Trouble

1. Wardlow

What started out as a rather promising year for Wardlow soon took a turn for the worse on the back of picking up his first piece of singles gold in July.

Likely not helped by the fact his epic Double or Nothing grudge match victory was largely overshadowed by his one-time employer stealing the headlines over the weekend, the freak athlete's meteoric rise hit a few speed bumps during the summer.

Despite holding the TNT Championship for months and putting on a few decent spectacles against the likes of Orange Cassidy and Brian Cage, the babyface badass being lumped in with the likes of Lethal and co. for a spell ultimately damaged his once-undeniable relationship with the All Elite faithful.

The powerbomb symphonies have remained, but the live crowd reaction that backs them has grown quieter by the month.

And his painful attempts at making "Wardlow's World" a thing, along with dropping his strap to Samoa Joe at Full Gear, haven't exactly helped sustain that early 2022 momentum either.

There's still time to get the one-of-a-kind flying big man back on track over the next 12-months, of course. But it's simply remarkable just how badly the company has handled arguably the hottest performer they had on their books for a time following on from the biggest night of his career so far.
