10 Amazing Signs Wrestling Is Entering A New Boom Period

5. AEW’s Global Expansion

AEW probably won't be selling out massive stadiums anytime soon, but they are making their own strides towards bigger and bigger business internationally. The group announced a London date for 2023, and Tony Khan has previously spoken about using Fulham FC's Craven Cottage ground as a possible outdoor venue too.

"Global expansion" means actually hauling ass to the UK and other countries for tours - AEW already showcases weekly programming in lots of different places, and managed to secure a snug spot on ITV in England, Scotland and beyond. That was important, 'cause it put more eyes on the product than there might be had Dynamite/Rampage only been available on FITE TV (or some other such streaming service).

TK won't rest until AEW is all over the place.

Visiting Europe is the next logical step. If AEW can steal away some of WWE's ironclad influence here, then who knows how far they could go? It's amazing that fans in Europe could see two major touring companies every year again, and ones with heavy TV presence.
