10 Annoying Traits That Are RUINING WWE Characters

6. Elias (Repetition/Cowardice)

Elias has to be one of WWE's dumbest characters. The music man has tolerated constant interruptions to his guitar-led interludes for years now, and he never learns his lesson. There are only so many times fans can watch Eli get frustrated by these delays before they start to think he's just plain stupid.

Also, he always plays the coward.

Admittedly, that's a common heel trait and can be effective if used properly, but there needs to be some justification for it. Recently, Elias walked out on latest pal Jaxson Ryker then agreed to a match with him on Raw. Mid-way through, the heel decided he'd had enough and literally ran away from the ring.

Why did he sign for the match (in storyline) if he didn't want to face Ryker's wrath? None of this makes any sense, and it smacks of WWE throwing things at the wall to see what might stick. Elias' repeat outrage at being interrupted and constant cowardice do nothing for him.
