7. Reigns' Climb To The Head Of The Table
It is safe to say that Roman Reigns has had a very tumultuous relationship with the WWE universe. His rise to stardom was littered with every response possible, and at times impacted the growth of this superstar. Still, in another way, the incredibly mixed reactions gave him this overwhelming sense of importance.
After the restrictions hit, Roman disappeared from television for a bit, opting to stay at home and look after his family. This absence was definitely felt, but eventually, Reigns returned and brought with him an entirely new persona.
The wrestler that we have now is barely recognisable from the corporate babyface WWE once tried to sell us, as the new family-driven heel Reigns is a force to be reckoned with.
ThunderDome has done an excellent job of bringing some sound and feeling back to Smackdown and Raw. Yet it is still a massive disappointment that we never got to hear the crowds initial reactions to this character, as Reigns really could have brought even more out of it with such stimulus.
We can only hope that the aura of his new role hasn't faded by the time crowds can return.
