10 Awesome 2020 Wrestling Moments We Wish Had Live Fans
4. Brodie Lee's AEW Debut
The reason that this segment ranks higher than the two previous entries that spoke on AEW debuts is the fact that this one could have helped the performer to feel more important. It was a huge deal to see Brodie Lee finally make the jump to All Elite, as although Cardona also suffered in WWE, he at least had a streak in which he was beloved, whereas the former Luke Harper didn't.
AEW did a fantastic job building up the secret identity of the leader of the Dark Order. What started as one of the least exciting parts of the show quickly became a massive chance for speculation and drove fans to the brink of excitement. The reveal that it was Brodie Lee all along was fantastic and could have shocked live fans, especially seeing as the popular opinion was that Matt Hardy would take the wheel.
If he had been able to debut in front of an audience, then this moment could have been a defining point of Brodie Lee's career. Sadly he was in the right place but at the wrong time, and although his AEW run has still been great, his first appearance could have been way more impressive.
