The history of WCW's Cruiserweight division is littered with matches you simply must see. Most of them were for the title itself, such as Dean Malenko vs. Rey Mysterio from Halloween Havoc 1996 or Rey's other classic with Eddie Guerrero one year later. Meanwhile, who do you know that showers Ultimo Dragon vs. Psicosis with praise?

This is what WCW pay-per-views in '97 were all about. Star names like Randy Savage, DDP, Roddy Piper, and The Outsiders could be found in the main event positions, but those matches couldn't hope to top the likes of Dragon and Psicosis earlier in the card. This was close to 15 minutes of Cruiserweight goodness.

Admittedly, the starting few minutes were pretty slow, but the end sequence sucked the live crowd in big style, and it's easy to see why people loved the variety show Eric Bischoff was putting on at the time. Sonny Onoo's interference at the end shouldn't spoil what is a forgotten Cruiser stunt show.
