10 Awesome WWE Matches You Might Have Missed In 2017

1. AJ Styles & Nakamura Vs. Owens & Corbin (SmackDown 18/07)

Raw and SmackDown tag team matches that throw together a pair of like-minded heels against face counterparts with whom they happen to be feuding individually tend to be forgettable - so there's no shame in forgetting this one.

They're also often pretty good though. The logic of taking four top-level stars (or failing that, three plus Baron Corbin) and putting them in the ring together is generally sound - especially when it brings us one of the first few meaningful interactions between AJ and Nakamura, two wrestlers fans were dying to see rub shoulders.

It's a match that you can't afford to take your eyes off for a moment, beginning with Corbin attacking The King of Strong Style, his Battleground opponent, out on the entrance ramp before the opening bell. The tone is then set for a pulsating encounter, won in the end by the heels after a blind tag from KO.

Seriously, this one is well worth the watch if you haven't yet seen it. It has everything you need from a free-TV main event, and one of precious few from last year that wouldn't have looked out of place on pay-per-view.
