10 Bad-Ass WCW Gimmicks Wasted On Terrible Wrestlers

6. Johnny The Bull

Jon Hugger was another case of someone who didn't set out to become a wrestler, but because of the right circumstance, WCW came knocking on his door, instead of the other way around. As a nightclub bouncer in Atlanta, he worked out at the same gym owned by Sting and Lex Luger, and frequented by many WCW wrestlers while they were in town. One day, Diamond Dallas Page saw him working out and approached him about attending a WCW tryout, and that was that. Given a veiled Italian Mafia gimmick, he was teamed with Big Vito and managed by Tony Marinara (better known as Tony Mamaluke of ECW fame), and received an immediate push. He and Vito won the WCW Tag Team Titles within a month of first teaming with each other. Being a champion didn't do a thing to hide The Bull's inexperience in the ring, though. It wasn't long before they dropped the titles and would be moved back down the card, with The Bull eventually injuring himself and being sidelined for a few months. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DekRoS74748 To his credit, he has gotten better in the ring in the years since, and he's still active to this day, after spending time working in both Japan and Mexico to hone his craft.
