10 Bad WWE Matches From Great WrestleManias

2. Bret Hart Vs. Vince McMahon (WrestleMania XXVI)

Bret Hart agreed to wrestle for WWE multiple times in 2010. His first of three matches that year was a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania XXVI against "sworn enemy" Vince McMahon, with the narrative built around Bret getting retribution for the Montreal Screwjob.

There was only one small problem though - by this point, Bret had been retired for 10 years thanks to a serious concussion that resulted in long-term damage.

So it was depressing to see The Hitman wrestling in 2010, as he couldn't do half the things that he could do a decade ago. What was even worse, though, was that the match went over 11 minutes. To be fair, Vince spent half of that time getting beaten up by The Hart Dynasty outside the ring, but still - the match was nothing but Bret punching and kicking Vince, hitting him with weapons, and finally locking him in an incredibly-slow Sharpshooter, bringing this match to its merciful end.

Why WWE thought it was a good idea to have Bret wrestle in 2010 is anybody's guess, but even more baffling is that he agreed to do it at all. And the Sharpshooter at the end wasn't even cathartic - it was just sad.
