10 Best Active Wrestlers Who Will Never Be World Champion

2. Matt and Nick Jackson (The Young Bucks)

The Young Bucks could potentially go down as the greatest tag team in the history of wrestling. That is an impressive feat, what’s even more impressive is that they’ve garnered that praise while also never stepping foot inside a WWE ring.

The Young Bucks have changed the wrestling landscape for the better with incredible matches, elevating tag team wrestling to new heights, and even helping to create their own big-time wrestling promotion AEW. So why will Matt nor Nick Jackson ever be World Champion? Simply because they both have actively chosen not to.

Unlike other tag teams, whose success often leads to singles runs from both members, The Young Bucks have chosen to remain a team for their entire careers. This active choice to never pursue singles success is certainly a respectable one, as they have elevated tag team and 6 man tag team wrestling. The Young Bucks are so inseparable that they even share a Twitter account.

It’s not as though they couldn’t have singles success either. When placed in singles matches in the past both Matt and Nick Jackson have proven they truly are some of the best workers in the business. If the Young Bucks ever decided to split there’s no doubt they could have one of the best feuds in wrestling and certainly elevate themselves to World Title contenders. Given their track records though, it’s safe to say The Young Bucks will be together forever.

The Iron Sheik once said, "DON'T BE A F****** JABRONI!" That advice changed my life, as I am in fact now standing here as definitely not a jabroni. Thanks for reading my stuff! #HTX Matthew 11:28
