10 Best Booked Wrestling Babyfaces Of 2020

2. Orange Cassidy

Orange Cassidy
AEW

When Orange Cassidy made his debut in AEW, I don't think anyone could have predicted the meteoric rise that he would have during the company's first year. Despite not always coming out on top, Cassidy has proven time and time again that he is the future of the company.

After having an outstanding match with PAC at Revolution, Cassidy then went into the Casino Ladder match at Double or Nothing, in which he got to showcase both his in-ring prowess and his ability for comedy in a multi-man match.

What really cemented his babyface run however is his feud with Chris Jericho. Orange managed to combine both his "King of Sloth Style" persona with a fiery babyface passion that we hadn't seen from him before. And Jericho was the perfect foil for Cassidy. He sold his offence perfectly and managed to get both the hilarious and the seriousness out of the character.

Their feud ended at All Out in which Cassidy managed to beat Jericho in a Mimosa Mayhem match. This victory over arguably the top star in the company really put over Orange. After a feud with Brodie Lee and Cody over the TNT Championship, it seems Orange has been put over in defeat. Yet even with these losses, his 2020 run remains one of the most endearing in AEW's rookie year.
