What a difference 12 months makes.

At this point last year, Roman Reigns was prepping for a TLC match against 'King' Corbin that nobody really wanted. That followed some dog food garbage which blighted SmackDown's early months on FOX. Today though, Reigns is the single best character in all of professional wrestling, and he's making it look p*ss easy.

His metamorphosis from 'Big Dog' to 'Tribal Chief' has been stunning, and he's another who contradicts what was said about Daniel Bryan; despite missing a lengthy spell due to his self-imposed sabbatical, Roman roared back onto the scene at SummerSlam and instantly took his place as the most must-see heel in wrestling.

Since then, his feud with Jey Uso has elevated the tag star, and Reigns isn't done yet. If handled correctly, a potentially-awkward rivalry against Goldberg (which was supposed to happen at 'Mania 36) could also work. WWE, the man himself and Paul Heyman seem to know how to get the best out of this Roman Reigns.
