10 Best Champions Of The Worst Titles In Wrestling
5. Mr. Anderson - Nu-Wrestling Evolution Heavyweight Championship
The NWE is an Italian wrestling promotion that actually had a few well-known talents on their roster. Former WWE stars Chuck Palumbo, Juventud Guerrera, John Heidenreich and even the Ultimate Warrior have appeared on NWE cards. Much of the promotion was done on the cheap (allegedly, the photographers weren't paid). The promotion was in need of excitement and they got it, albeit briefly, after Ken Anderson was released from his WWE contract in 2009. Anderson joined NWE's "Face to Face" tour in Malta and defeated "Tiny Iron" and Chuck Palumbo in a three way title match. By 2010, Anderson was on his way to Total Nonstop Action. Anderson has sometimes been criticized for being to stiff in the ring, but the man does know how to draw heat from a crowd. Italy was obviously not meant to be a permanent move for the former "Mr. Kennedy". For a short while though, Italian fans enjoyed the showmanship of Mr. Anderson...Anderson.
