10 Best Debut Editions Of WWE PPVs

8. Money In The Bank - 2010

Money In The Bank made its pay per view debut in 2010 and managed to showcase a trio of show stealing matches. As with most WWE PPVs in the modern era, there were a few matches on the card that didn't live up to expectations, but the main events of the evening more than made up for those. The undercard saw Santino Marella defeat William Regal, Alicia Fox defeat Eve Torres for the Divas Championship, The Hart Dynasty overcome The Usos and Layla defeat Kelly kelly for the WWE's Women's title. Appearing as the second match of the evening, Kane defeated The Big Show, Matt Hardy, Christian, Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler to win the MITB for the World Heavyweight Championship. The Big Red Machine would cash it in later in the evening, once Rey Mysterio had defended his title against Jack Swagger. The MITB match for the WWE Championship saw The Miz defeat Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Edge, Evan Bourne, John Morrison, Mark Henry, and Ted DiBiase before the main event saw Sheamus defeat John Cena inside a steel cage. The two MITB matches were stellar affairs that arguably haven't been matched since. The story behind the World Heavyweight Championship match and the compelling action in the ring made it another five star meeting. The Cena/Sheamus match hasn't gone down as one of the greats, but if it had taken place during an event that didn't have such heavy competition, it might have.
