5. Hell In A Cell - 2009

The card as a whole for the first ever designated Hell in a Cell pay per view was excellent. Even though the Drew McIntyre R-Truth match would have been better suited for a regular Raw or SmackDown taping, they still managed to put on a solid match that kept the masses enthralled. The show started at a frenetic pace as The Undertaker defeated CM Punk in the cell for the World Heavyweight Championship and never let up. John Morrison defeated Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship, Mickie James defeated Alicia Fox for the Divas Championship, JeriShow defeated Rey Mysterio and Batista for the Tag Team titles before John Cena lost his WWE Championship to Randy Orton in the second HIAC match of the evening. Then, McIntyre defeated Truth and Kofi Kingston defended his United States Championship in a triple threat with Jack Swagger and The Miz. The main event of the evening pitted D-Generation X against The Legacy in the third Cell match. In the closing stages of the match, Triple H hit DiBiase with a sledgehammer before delivering a Pedigree outside of the cage. The Game locked the door, leaving DiBiase outside and making the remainder of the match a handicap bout. HHH and HBK finished Rhodes off in next to no time with a sledgehammer/Sweet Chin Music combo. This pay per view rarely allowed the WWE Universe to have a breather, something Fast Lane needs to do.
