Was there ever any doubt who the top heel in all of WWE would be circa 2012? If you answered "Yes" then we advise you shut up and walk away from the computer. There was so much fear that Bryan would fail to make it on the big stage yet he has entered Wrestlemania as the World Heavyweight Champion and was one of the most over acts on the entire card - a card that featured The Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels. It's not clear what happened exactly but something clicked and Bryan became the breakout success story of 2012 and despite not being a part of any title chase is still one of the companies top acts. He's a modern day Kurt Angle - he can just be slotted into a title match at any time and no one will question why. In a company where "What?" chants can still be heard throughout the crowds, a man came along and got a crowd to chant "Yes" and managed to get as over as anyone can. No small feat for a guy who's only gimmick is that he's a vegan - quite the contrast to the beer swilling heels of yesteryear. We don't doubt that unless WWE changes direction with D-Bry and turns him face, he'll continue his run at the top for a very long time.
