2. CM Punk
It seemed that the CM Punk heel turn was a little half hearted at first but over recent weeks Punk has managed to get himself hated by the WWE Universe like only he knows how. By attacking a beloved legend (compounded by his recent heart attack) and his constant complaining about his lack of respect (Diesel circa 1996 anyone?) has turned the fans against him - playing directly into his bandaged hands. Punk is a fantastic antagonist and a throwback to the bygone era of great heels. He's part Jake Roberts, part Roddy Piper. He's as old school as they come which makes him a great study piece for any aspiring wrestlers, and could easily make the crowd cheer for him tomorrow if he so chose. If WWE plays their cards right his pairing with Paul Heyman could be the most exciting thing to happen to the WWE in a very, very long time.
