Continuing along the trend of IMPACT generally being the kings of mainstream weapons-based professional wrestling, Turning Point 2020's Knockouts Championship clash between Deonna Purrazzo and champion Su Yung was an exemplary effort that made up for the tragic build post-Bound For Glory.

'The Virtuosa', while typically proficient in the art of technical wrestling, put that aside here, instead adapting her style to be as vicious as Yung might have been. You see, Su was the first real threat to her title, hence why 'The Undead Bride' was victorious the prior month. Deonna knew she'd have to switch her in-ring style to an extent. This didn't stop her from applying her patented submissions; she merely put an added touch on them.

A Venus de Milo double armbar while Su's head was trapped in a chair, preventing her from physically wailing at the pain, was top-tier patter. Countering Su's blood mist spray by raising a canvas in direct aim of the mist was equally as innovative. It worked excellently, although IMPACT perhaps should have refrained from putting anything spit-related up for sale on eBay during a literal pandemic.

Nonetheless, Deonna has brought the division to new heights since regaining the title from Yung, and will continue to do so with defences on both NWA and AAA events in August. She quite literally is the queen of the knockouts.
