10 Best Impact Wrestling World Champions Of All Time
8. Jeff Hardy
Throughout the duration of his Impact Wrestling career, it's safe to say Jeff Hardy didn't always receive the best reception. Sadly, one of his worst days came during a challenge for the World Championship in March 2011, when he showed up for the Victory Road PPV in no condition to perform.
That moment aside, Jeff's three reigns as the champion were all noteworthy for their own individual reasons. Whether it was the formation of the villainous Immortal faction or the defection of Bully Ray to Aces & Eights, The Charismatic Enigma seemed to bring eyes to the company when champion, and not just because he was (at the time) an ex-WWE guy.
Not every match he had as champion lived up to the hype, but you could count on the stories at least making sense. While fans may be critical of some of the booking decisions, Jeff remained a key figure in Impact while in possession of the championship. As mentioned, some of the company's biggest moments over the years have came while he was the champ.
It's a sad fact that his Impact career is largely remembered for that incident in 2011. He was an important figure in the history of the World Championship.
