8. Sin Cara & Rey Mysterio Vs. Team Rhodes Scholars (2012)
A great match that often gets forgotten, this was a number one contenders match at the 2012 edition of the event, that also came under Tables match rules. Rhodes Scholars was the combination of Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes, during Cody's much-missed moustache era. The tag champions at the time were Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane), who would feature in a genuine classic later in the show. More on that later however. Sandow and Rhodes would come out on top after Rhodes pushed Sin Cara through two tables set up at ringside, and the match itself went somewhat under the radar due to the quality of the 2012 event. Sandow and Rhodes were a great team for the short amount of time they were together, and the pairing of Rey and Sin Cara also made sense. The two teams had great chemistry too. It could have benefited from being a little longer maybe, but it was still pretty darn good.
