10 Best Movies Starring WWE Hall Of Famers
9. Rocky III (1982)
Of A-Team fame, the muscle-bound, gold-clad Mr T was a natural addition to the WWE family, and frankly we pity the fool who doesn't know he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014 by announcer Gene Okerlund. While never a true pro wrestler, T did wrestle in the mid-'80s when the promotion was still WWF, and made several more adjacent appearances (including as a referee) in the intervening years.
While Mr T's film career spans several decades, by far his best and most well-known performance is in Rocky III, as Clubber Lang, facing down Sly Stallone's Rocky Balboa. The film may not be the best of the series, but that doesn't mean it don't pack a serious punch. Following in the footsteps of a line of star antagonists, Mr T holds his own as a ruthless underdog who bests Sly on his own turf before eventually being taken down a peg.
But the story doesn't end there -- T's on-screen boxing stint translated to the ring, where he became a special WWF boxer, taking on Bob Orton in 1986's Saturday Night's Main Event V.
