10 Best Things That Ever Happened During Wrestling Commercial Breaks

1. Cody & Brodie Go Through A Table

It was during an interview with Chris Jericho that Cody Rhodes shared yet another Brodie Lee tidbit that served as yet another measure of the much-missed man.

Reporting back on a somewhat infamous moment from their brutal and brilliant Dog Collar Match on October 7th 2020, the former AEW EVP noted how it took Lee's cheerfully rebellious nature in league with his own energised spirit for them to justify doing a package piledriver through a table as an iconic picture-in-picture moment.

“He (Lee) was really adamant that, going into commercial, we do a really big bump in the commercial...again, another one of the rules, ‘you can’t give anything away in the commercial’ and so you can, and I love that about here. I’m waiting for us to do a finish in the commercial. ‘Here’s what missed!"

An innovator, free-thinker and inspired warlord until the very end, Lee perfectly captured the key pitch of the environment he was in. It was tragically his last chance to ever do it.
