10 Best TNA Tag Teams Ever

1. America’s Most Wanted

With six title reigns running a total of 517 days, one of TNA's first tag teams became their best.

The early fairground shows that the company was putting out weekly were really rough. They were struggling to find an identity, and often relied on sleazy angles and characters for shock value. One of the lone bright spots were the no-nonsense rookies James Storm and Chris Harris. They could brawl, they could talk and they could kick ass. As America’s Most Wanted, they quickly rose to the top of the tag division, and gave it some legitimacy.

Incredibly, the two never teamed up before they started in TNA. Their try out match was against each other, and management was impressed enough that they hired them both and put them together. AMW was among the most popular wrestlers through the early years right into their run on Spike. They worked well with a variety of opponents, and their battles with Triple X are still among the best matches the company has ever had.

It’s a bit of a shame that they’ve never had a proper reunion after Harris left the company to join WWE as Braden Walker. He’s shown up on a couple of occasions since then, but never for a lengthy stay. Still, American’s Most Wanted was a great four year run for the two.

They ignited TNA's tag division, and produced a legacy of great matches that has yet to be topped.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
