10. Chris Candido Wins WCW Cruiserweight Title -
Despite his obvious talent, Chris Candido wouldn't really experience too much success in either the WWF or WCW. Following his stint working as Bodydonna Skip in the McMahon-led territory, Candido made a name for himself in ECW. Having previously worked for the promotion in 1993 when it was called Eastern Championship Wrestling, Candido was a fascinating talent to watch in the hardcore-style Extreme group. Largely working as a no frills pro wrestler, Candido would enjoy several years of success in ECW, before making the switch over to WCW in 2000. Mere weeks after his debut, the man would capture the WCW Cruiserweight Title, coming out on top in a chaotic six-man match at the Spring Stampede Pay-Per-View, also involving the likes of Juventud Guerrera, Shannon Moore and Crowbar. Whilst it wasn't said on television, a lot of fans remembered Candido's time in ECW fondly, and just before he was released later in the year, he reformed the Triple Threat faction in WCW with Bam Bam Bigelow and Shane Douglas, a group that had started in ECW.
