10 Best Wrestlers Under 25 Years Old In The World Today

10. Daichi Hashimoto

While it's not a rule, many of the young wrestlers who quickly become top talents have had the advantage of growing up in the business - case in point, Daichi Hashimoto, who is the son of late NJPW legend Shinya Hashimoto. Daichi was only 13 when his father died, but he decided then that he wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a pro wrestler. Daichi turned pro in 2011, winning that year's Wrestling Observer Newsletter Rookie of the Year award. He initially joined Pro Wrestling Zero1, the company his father helped found ten years earlier. Working there for three years, he developed past the initial "young lion" phase and found his own style, a strike-based offense similar to that of his father. Last year, Hashimoto joined Big Japan Pro Wrestling, forming Team Yamato with Kazuki Hashimoto (no relation). At 23 years of age, Daichi continues to win acclaim on Big Japan's undercard, and it's most likely just a matter of time before he winds up in New Japan.
