10 Best Wrestling Matches That Went Over 45 Minutes
6. Triple H Vs. The Rock (Judgement Day 2000) - 01:00:00
If WrestleMania XII's Iron Man match was slow and uneventful, the one shared four years later by Triple H and The Rock at Judgement Day 2000 - officiated, funnily enough, by the Heartbreak Kid himself - was anything but.
There were some 11 falls in total as The Game scored a 6-5 victory to win the WWE Title - making for an average of just under one every five minutes. It was so action-packed that the poor Louisville crowd almost lost its voice towards the end of the match.
Almost, but not quite - because when The Undertaker, in his biker guise for the first time, returned after more than half a year on the shelf to clear the ring of the McMahon-Helmsley Faction, the fans gave us one of the loudest pops of the Attitude Era, putting the exclamation point on of its greatest matches.
The bout's one glaring issue shouldn't go unmentioned though: 'Taker's intervention really should have been decisive, and having Trips win the belt - only to lose it a month later at King of the Ring - was a booking decision that made very little sense.
