One of the few Royal Rumble events where the actual Rumble match is such an afterthought, but this PPV was so great you forget that's the entire hook. Rumble 2000 is famous for a number of reasons, one of them being the debut of Tazz who had been teased for seemingly ages and was the first person to get a win over Kurt Angle since his debut in November. This show also has the Dudley Boys v Hardy Boyz tables match where Jeff Hardy infamously did a Swanton Bomb from the taxi above the entrance. The main event though, has nearly every other main event from the Attitude Era beat in terms of passion, brutality and tension. When Mick Foley realised Mankind didn't have what it takes to beat Triple H, he dug deep and brought back Cactus Jack to take on The Game. In Triple H's recent appearance on Chris Jericho's podcast, he cited this as his favourite match ever, and it's easy to see why. Both men go all out to not only entertain the fans, but to tell the story that needs to be told. Violence like this isn't always necessary in wrestling, but on those rare occasions, it's oddly magical. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_TPEPxSUbc
