Daniel Bryan captured his fourth WWE Championship from AJ Styles with a move worthy of his technical prowess - a kick to the balls.

The American Dragon was immediately thrust into a Champion vs. Champion match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series 2018, which won many Match of the Year awards. Once that was out of the way, it was time to get serious: serious about the planet.

Bryan's run as a ticked off eco-warrior who rallied against meat-eating fans and produced his own hemp-based title belt was inspired, some of the best character work of the man's career. He teamed up with Erick Rowan, reignited his feud with Styles, and then played the perfect villain in the story of KofiMania.

This title reign was pretty much flawless from start to finish. The matches, the storylines, the beginning, the ending, the merchandising potential, all of it was top-tier, helped along by the fact that Bryan looked like he was having the time of his life.

However, there was one other title reign in the 2010s that, from a historical standpoint, takes the cake. Or should that be the ice cream bar...
