10 Best WWE Debuts Of The 2010s
7. Adam Cole
People remember NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn as the night that The Undisputed Era debuted in NXT. However, this isn't strictly true.
Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly had both appeared on NXT TV before, both in losing efforts to Aleister Black. However, they made themselves relevant when they first attacked new NXT Tag Team Champions, Sanity, and then NXT Champion, Drew McIntyre.
The former reDRagon were the accomplices to the real debutante in Brooklyn - former Bullet Club member and ROH Champion, Adam Cole (Bay-Bay).
Cole, whose appearance at the show had been rumoured for weeks, rushed the ring following McIntyre's NXT Championship victory over Bobby Roode. With help from Fish and O'Reilly, Cole beat the new champion down, delivering his trademark superkick to seal the deal.
Most fans in the know suspected that Cole was going to show up at this TakeOver, but few could have expected that he would be inserted straight into the main event picture and be given a badass new faction to boot.
Cole's debut set him on the path to the NXT Championship he holds today. This was a great moment befitting of a top level performer. And that's... nah, we're not doing that.
