The best and most successful WWE Diva Search contestant is Michelle McCool. She tried out in the first season, made it to the final ten and finished in 7th place. WWE liked her enough as a taller woman with an athletic background and she was a school teacher, so they signed her to a developmental deal. Within three months after being eliminated, she made her Smackdown debut in November 2004.

After a few failed gimmicks, her first major title win happened at the 2008 Great American Bash when she became the Divas Champion. Soon after that, she turned heel and that's when she really started to hit her stride. She formed a heel partnership with Layla and the two were known as Laycool mostly on the Smackdown brand.

McCool ended up having two Divas Title reigns and two Women's Title reigns. She also unified the two titles to form what is now just the Divas Title.

She earned everything she had in WWE, but there is some controversy that surrounds her too. Some people think that she only really took off as a performer after she started dating The Undertaker and eventually getting married to him. If you watched her performances, though, you could see that she was a success because of the work she put in. Still, she's always going to have people that doubt how she got there due to who her husband is.

McCool retired from WWE in 2011 at the young age of 31. She had a daughter with The Undertaker and will probably be in the WWE Hall of Fame one day. She's also the most successful Diva Search contestant ever.
