Nia Jax's feud with Alex Bliss in 2018 wasn't the most well-told of stories, but it did have its moments.

Jax was the muscle for Raw Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss, helping her to retain her championship on numerous occasions. However, this was all happening whilst Bliss was bad-mouthing Jax behind her back, making nasty comments about Nia's body type.

Jax found out about Bliss' two-faced nature on an episode of Raw, when some conveniently-placed cameras and microphones caught Bliss insulting her. This sent Jax on a tear backstage, as she took out her frustration on the set.

This angle eventually led to a feel good moment at WrestleMania 34, when Jax defeated Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship. Jax overcame her bully and proved that women of all shapes and sizes could make it in WWE.

Whilst the story was confusing at times and Jax was a heel again by the end of the year, her initial turn was well-executed and led to a big moment at WrestleMania that had a lovely body positivity message at its core.

The story that preceded it may have been trash, but the actual turn itself and the payoff was wonderful.
