10 Best WWE Heel Turns Of The 2010s
5. Triple H - SummerSlam 2013
Trust Triple H to turn heel when he wasn't even in the match.
Daniel Bryan achieved the unthinkable when he defeated John Cena clean in the main event of SummerSlam to become the WWE Champion. The indie darling had finally reached the mainstream mountain top and everyone was thrilled.
However, we can't have nice things, Randy Orton slithered his way down to the ring, Money in the Bank briefcase in hand. Bryan stared Orton down from inside the ring, ready to face Orton head on. However, he didn't get the chance.
Because he's Triple H, The Game made himself the centre of attention and kicked Daniel Bryan in the gut. He then delivered a Pedigree, which allowed Orton to pin Bryan in a matter of seconds to become champion.
This started The Authority storyline and the dominant heel run that Triple H has been in on and off ever since. Triple H's real life position of power in WWE had been acknowledged on screen before, but this was the start of the corporate Triple H character that we know and love(?) today.
