1. Cactus Jack Vs. Triple H (No Way Out 2000)

One month removed from their game-changing Royal Rumble street fight, Triple H and Cactus Jack partook in another display of barbarism at WWE's next pay-per-view, where they were charged with somehow escalating the prequel's horrors.

They succeeded.

Mick Foley, the most selfless man in wrestling, took another death-defying fall (because of course he did). He was getting ready to piledrive Triple H onto a flaming barbed wire 2x4 atop the structure, but 'The Game' reversed it, sending Cactus plummeting through the roof and canvas below. That he'd suffered grizzlier falls at King Of The Ring 1998 didn't even matter.

Coming at a time when Triple H was peaking as a main event-level heel, and Foley had long since perfected his gutsy babyface act, the bout came with the added stakes of Mick agreeing to retire if he was defeated. This saw him once again drag his younger opponent into Cactus Jack's world. His desperation was present in everything he did, from driving Triple H through the announce table to setting the 2x4 ablaze, and while he'd eventually sully the conclusion by mounting several wrestling comebacks, the finish, in isolation, was perfect.
