10. Baron Corbin & Rhyno Vs. Jason Jordan & Chad Gable - TakeOver: Respect
Is there a more popular act in NXT right now than the tag team of Jason Jordan and Chad Gable? At the beginning of the year Jason Jordan was going nowhere at no particular pace, milling around in a tag team with Tye Dillinger. They split up, and the weirdly charismatic Chad Gable appeared on the scene. Fast forward to the end of the year and you have arguably the most popular tag team in WWE right now. The two are so good that they managed to coax a great match out of Baron Corbin. This was a semi final match in the Dusty Rhodes Classic, and from first bell to last it was a stormer. Chad Gable is absolute dynamite, and the heat stretch on him in this match was particularly brutal, with Corbin bringing his A game and then some. As good as the first half of the match was, it is the final stretch that really brought the house down. Jason Jordan continued his run of incredible hot tags and Rhyno was in the right places at the right times, but once again it was all about Corbin and Gable, the latter even managing to hit a truly incredible Chaos Theory Germany Suplex on the former. Corbin would hit Gable with his End of Days finish, possibly the best one he has hit so far. Fantastic.
