10 Best WWE Pay-Per-Views Of The Past Decade

3. WrestleMania XXX

It's possible that, in the entire history of WWE, there's never been a single day as meaningful as April 6, 2014. On that evening, WrestleMania XXX delivered the highest of highs and the lowest of lows to members of the WWE Universe.

A card that was completely restructured due to fan reaction and talent departures opened up with the best WrestleMania kickoff since Bret Hart versus Owen Hart. Daniel Bryan battled Triple H, the man who had screwed him out of the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, for a spot in the show's main event. In a technical masterpiece that saw "The Game" target Bryan's already-injured arm, the "Yes Man" outlasted the 13-time world champion, pinning him with the running knee.

That meant that Bryan would join Batista and WWE Champion Randy Orton in the final match of the evening, a triple threat bout for the title. Bryan came in at a clear disadvantage, and his foes zeroed in on him, nearly taking him out of the match with a combination Batista Bomb/RKO through a table. Bryan was strapped to a stretcher, but he came to consciousness, got off of it, and rejoined the match, eventually making Batista tap out to win the title.

If that wasn't enough news, Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker, ending The Phenom's WrestleMania streak. While that match was hurt due to an injury 'Taker suffered early on, its impact cannot be overstated.
