10 Best WWE Pay-Per-Views Of The PG Era

Extreme Rules 2012 is well known for the in-ring return of Brock Lesnar after 12-years away from the WWE ring. However, people often overlook the rest of the card and label it as a one-match show. This would be an unfair assessment, as it's actually one of the best top-to-bottom pay-per-view events in the history of WWE's PG product.

The main event itself is indeed a classic - Lesnar and John Cena destroyed each other in a main event that was a perfect reintroduction to the audience of the abilities of Lesnar despite the divisive result. The World Title was settled in a 2/3 Falls Match between Daniel Bryan and Sheamus. Even though the crowd weren't fully sold on Sheamus as World Champ, the match was arguably one of his best-ever matches and the two men had fantastic chemistry.

The WWE Title Chicago Street Fight between CM Punk and Chris Jericho redeemed their lacklustre WrestleMania match. Elsewhere on the card - Kane and Randy Orton had a Falls Count Anywhere encounter which over-delivered and surprised many fans on the night.
