10 Best WWE Performers Of 2018 (So Far)
8. AJ Styles
No list of top WWE performers is complete without an appearance from AJ Styles, who has sat head and shoulders above just about everyone else in the company since his magnificent debut two-and-a-half years ago.
That said, 2018 (at least the first half of it) is comfortably his least impressive WWE year to date. His best match so far is probably the WWE Title defence at Fast Lane, which was a multi-man affair rather than a classic singles encounter.
According to popular consensus, his feud with Shinsuke Nakamura has largely disappointed in the ring, although that's mostly a consequence of the incredibly high expectations many of us had going into them.
Besides, they haven't exactly been duds; we're talking about a series of three or four star matches more often than not let down by inconclusive finishes. They're not going to feature in anyone's match of the year lists, but they were a long way from being awful.
