The Highlights: Extreme Rules was actually an unexpected treat with two Match of the Year candidates and the return of Seth Rollins, so WWE did an excellent job of continuing that momentum heading into the subsequent edition of Raw. Rollins opened the evening by turning on the fans in brilliant fashion (although he should have been a babyface right then and there). After Shane McMahon announced Rollins vs. Roman Reigns for Money in the Bank, that was all we saw of Shane and Steph for the remainder of the night.

The show was fully focused on building toward the pending pay-per-view, and thus each of the Money in the Bank qualifying matches were well-wrestled and thoroughly entertaining. Enzo Amore's return from injury was just the icing on the cake.

The Low Points: With so many meaningful matches taking place, there wasn't much time for filler. Although The New Day's brief bout with The Social Outcasts was harmless, Charlotte's betrayal of her father Ric Flair was painful to watch. The segment seemed to last forever and was the sole blemish on an otherwise exceptional episode.
