10 Best WWE Raw Episodes Of 2016
4. 20 June 2016
The Highlights: If you haven't already noticed the trend, the post-pay-per-view editions of Raw were among the best of 2016. The episode immediately following Money in the Bank was no exception, and once that event delivered the goods, this Raw had a handful of newsworthy moments and matches as well.
It was the dawning of Dean Ambrose's era as WWE champion, and he watched on as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins battled for the right to face him at Battleground, a bout better than their encounter from the night prior. John Cena also wrestled his first Raw match of the year against Karl Anderson while Sasha Banks returned after a long layoff, The Wyatt Family resurfaced, and Charlotte and Paige produced a solid match for the Women's Championship.
The Low Points: How could there be any time for filler with so many things going down? As it turned out, Rusev and Titus O'Neil resumed their forgettable feud and Baron Corbin beat Zack Ryder in a quick squash match. To top it off, the least exciting Raw general manager of all-time John Laurinaitis came back, which some fans may have enjoyed, but it was overshadowed by everything else on the episode.
