The Highlights: In past years, the night after WrestleMania has been so stellar that any episode forced to follow it doesn't come close to being as great. While 2016's post-WrestleMania edition of Raw was amazing as always (more on that shortly), the subsequent show was ultimately equally excellent.

Instead of arriving on the Raw after 'Mania as expected, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson surfaced on the 11 April episode and attacked The Usos, sending a message to the rest of the roster. Meanwhile, AJ Styles and Sami Zayn fought for a future WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, Cesaro and Kevin Owens rekindled their rivalry, and Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt teamed up for the first time ever in a hot main event match against League of Nations.

The Low Points: The New Day announced a tag team tourney, which was a breath of fresh air for the division, but The Dudley Boyz vs. The Lucha Dragons in the quarterfinals was a disappointment. Apollo Crews vs. Adam Rose was hardly anything of note (not to mention it was Roses' last match ever on Raw) and Ambrose appearing on The Highlight Reel was goofy, though none of those matches or segments were bad enough to take away from this above-average edition of Raw.
