Following their loss to The Undertaker and Kane at Survivor Series, The Wyatt Family needed something to heat them back up again. Not wasting any time, Bray and his clan were entered into a rivalry against The Dudley Boyz. Of course, the numbers advantage greatly favoured the heels, which is why WWE decided to book something out of the blue to spice things up. Bubba Ray and D-Von enlisted the help of Tommy Dreamer and Rhyno, for the purpose of building toward a match at the TLC pay-per-view. On that night, The Wyatt Family were the victors, which would have been a logical ending point for the short feud. It's a good thing WWE saw things differently, otherwise an 'Extreme Rules Match' on the December 14 episode of Raw wouldn't have happened. The night after TLC, both camps were eager to provide a wild brawl for the red hot and receptive Philadelphia crowd. Being the home of the original ECW, Philly was on fire to see The Dudleyz team up with Dreamer and Rhyno, and the match didn't let them down. 15 minutes of expert-level mayhem was served up, providing the show with one of 2 brilliant bouts.
