3. Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus (December 14)
At TLC, Roman Reigns and Sheamus initially struggled to get fans invested in their 'Tables, Ladders And Chairs' contest. The main event ended up being a fine brawl, but the show remains more memorable for a post-match segment during which Reigns hammered Triple H. On a more cheerful note for the pair, they put on a show the following evening on Raw. This would be a huge night for Reigns, as he was booked to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title outright. For Sheamus, this signified a lack of faith from management, as he was seemingly the one blamed for sagging ratings. Nobody watching was thinking about statistics however, they were simply enjoying a thunderous clash. Something which has helped many other matches on this list has been the need for performers to prove something. Sheamus and Reigns followed suit during their bout, because they looked like they wanted to show how well they can work together. Title changes on Monday Night Raw aren't too common nowadays, so this felt meaningful.
