10 Best WWE Women's Wrestlers Of 2017

1. Asuka

Having gone through the entirety of 2017 without suffering defeat, Asuka simply has to be placed at the very top of this list - even if she did spend most of the year climbing up the developmental ranks.

What makes this even more impressive is the fact that the Empress of Tomorrow actually missed a couple of months of action after suffering a collarbone injury back at August's TakeOver: Brooklyn.

Take that out and her last 12 months have been practically flawless, including three legitimate match of the year candidates (two against Ember Moon and one with Nikki Cross) and one of the most hotly-anticipated main roster debuts since the inception of NXT.

It's all now set up perfectly for the Raw creative team to undo the work of their Orlando counterparts by booking her in a series of dead-end feuds - but something tells you they won't. Triple H is very high on the 36-year-old, and if she fails to make real all of that potential he won't be best pleased.
