The UK division's resident bad boy spent the early part of the year playing second-fiddle to Tyler Bate, but he's moved in front of his British Strong Style co-founder thanks to a series of excellent in-ring performances.

The best of them came against the man he beat to claim the UK Championship at TakeOver: Chicago in May - but he's by no means dependent on Bate to steal the show; he's also shared four-star-rated matches with Mark Andrews and Trent Seven.

Workrate on its own isn't usually enough to take you to the top of the WWE mountain, but combine stellar performances in the ring with what is, by common consent, some of the best heel work the company has seen in a while, and you fancy he has a big role to play in the years ahead.
