10 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE Clash Of Champions 2020
7. Here We Go AGAIN!
On Raw, Andrade & Angel Garza defeated the teams of Murphy & Seth Rollins and Dominic Mysterio & Humberto Carrillo to become the new No. 1 Contenders for The Street Profits' Raw Tag Team Championships, and if that isn't the most hilarious sentence you've read today, I'm not sure what is.
Why is it funny, you ask? Oh, only because there is nothing 'new' about Andrade and Garza's feud with the Street Profits over the tag titles because they've been facing off constantly all summer. They clashed a few weeks ago on Raw, they fought at SummerSlam, they fought all the way back in July too but WWE probably doesn't want you to remember that one. It's been going on (and on) for ages and, for some reason, WWE is still booking it.
When we could have seen Mysterio and Carrillo try and form a long-term partnership or the continued dissension of Murphy and Rollins' alliance in a potential Tag Titles match against the Profits - a new opportunity for one team, a last chance saloon for the other - we're now just forced to watch the same match again because that's some good sh*t, damn it! Sure, that'll be new and different.
Speaking of rematches...
