10 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE Clash Of Champions 2020

2. Ambulance Matches Almost Always Suck

With the exception of Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns, Ambulance Matches aren't that great. Yes, they're a fun gimmick that can be used to the advantage of a storyline (Shane McMahon vs. Kane springs to mind), but they rarely produce a good wrestling match.

Maybe it's the gimmicky nature in general, maybe it's the fact that the opponents involved haven't always gelled in the ring or maybe it's down to the fact that the combatants continually have to disrupt the flow of their own match by returning to the ambulance; whatever the reason, the stipulation has produced far more duds than it has classics, which is why the company's reliance on it is rather baffling.

Could Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton surprise in their WWE Championship match at Clash of Champions? Sure, their showdown at SummerSlam was pretty entertaining, but giving them a hokey gimmick like this leaves them fighting one heck of an uphill battle.
