10 Big Mistakes WWE Made At SummerSlam 2016
8. Cesaro And Sheamus On The Kickoff
Many folk have been complaining about the fact that Cesaro and Sheamus are going against each other in a Best-Of-7 series, on account of them facing each other so often recently. In truth, why are we complaining? There aren't many better match-ups in WWE today, and the style of match these two put on is the type that rarely gets old.
The two Europeans were demoted to the Kickoff show last night, but any pretence that they would give anything less than 110% went out the window straight away. Sheamus picked up the win in a match that was as good as anything on the card that didn't involve AJ Styles. This series is going to be a whole lot of fun, trust me.
Both men deserved more than being shunted onto the Kickoff show. This is going to be a complaint with most big shows, but the two brutes put on the sort of bout that a New York crowd would be able to get behind and are capable of the sort of 8/9 minute sprint that can ignite a flagging show.
Sheamus will probably go down in history as one of the best wrestlers in WWE history that nobody ever truly loved.
