10 Big Questions From WWE Raw (31 August)

1. How Will Rollins Defend Both Belts At Night Of Champions?

The most intriguing news to come out of this week's Raw was the revelation that Rollins will be forced to defend both the WWE Championship and US title at Night of Champions. The possibilities are very interesting; the booking team could arrange two separate matches or a triple threat, two-out-of-three falls affair. Whatever happens, the arrangement should make Night of Champions a pretty unique pay per view. The other major question regarding this revelation is how Seth will emerge from the PPV. He certainly has the chops to go twice in one night, having previous experience as a Ring of Honor Champion (and the stamina-testing title defences such a title entails). The quality of his matches isn't the main concern at all, but rather the booking decisions surrounding both bouts. It's a nice novelty having a double champion at the top of the card, and it's unlikely that the WWE would want to throw John Cena back into the US title picture so soon after his last reign. However, the novelty (and short-term impact) of Sting as a WWE Champion could sway the company into making a shocking transition.
