Whether or not The Great Khali's latest WWE return was just a one-off appearance remains to be seen. The Indian giant made his presence felt by interfering in Battleground 2017's Punjabi Prison match, but didn't appear on SmackDown two nights later, and there's been no word on what his future holds. Whatever happens, fans should be hoping it doesn't turn into a full-time in-ring return, as his record is downright dismal.

One of his most notorious botches came while wrestling Edge on a September 2010 episode of Monday Night Raw. The duo were competing in a two-man battle royal when Edge, desperate to get away from his much larger opponent, decided to roll under the bottom rope as an escape plan.

Poor old Khali's brain malfunctioned at this point. The big man clambered over the top rope to chase Edge, then climbed down to the floor. This should've resulted in him immediately losing the match, but the referee made a meal of it and failed to call for the bell.

As a baffled Michael Cole questioned why the match wasn't over, both men got back inside, and Edge eventually bundled the giant out to secure the victory.
